This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fremont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

8 people at 2PM on Saturday Pretty empty due to our unusual lunch time. I would ONLY revisit for the experience with new people. It wasn’t the best experience I’ve encountered… THEY CHARGED TAX OVER GRATUITY!!! Check before paying, we didn’t and paid $10 extra. This is the only reason why Toro is getting 3 stars! I compared this place to 10 Butchers because the pricing of both places are expensive. I still like 10 Butchers better. Pro The beef toro and galbi were very good! The kimchi and cucumber banchan were very good! Presentations of food were well done! Con Everything else was below the quality expectations. My anticipation was high because of the pricing. Hamichi and scallops tastes fishy so I don’t believe it’s fresh for the prices of $21 and $16 each plate of 6-8 pieces. There was ONLY 4 types of banchan. We SAT at two tables and one of the vent filter was broken and they tried adjusting it but still doesn’t work… for a place this expensive…. I’m disappointed…

Was in Bay area and had dinner with some colleagues. This was recommended by the colleagues. Nested around a shopping center and eat to get to. My first time here. We ordered various dishes of sushi and from the grill. From the grill it was Waygu beef. The beefv was excellent and we ordered 4 of them. They dish was 4 oz portion therefore order several if you are sharing. Service and food was good. Food came out fast. Casual dining but very good food. Will I go back, yes.

Amazing place to go!! I love coming here with my girlfriend for sepcial ocations, the meats are delicious from the wagyu to the pork, all of them come in a amazing display. The wagyu rice bowl they have is also soooo amazing i would personally go there just for that. I would definitely say tho the price was pretty crazy but for the food once in a while if say its totally worth it.

My first time trying sushi, and I absolutely loved it! This place has a unique ambiance and interior design. They have two separate sections: one for grilled dishes and the other for sushi. I highly recommend making a reservation before you go, as it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a variety of sushi, including Japanese style like sushi sashimi plate and California styles like dancing unagi/avocado cucumber/veg sushi, along with miso soup, honey walnut shrimp plate, chicken katsu curry, and baked salmon fried rice. The sushi was amazing and well-presented, with fresh, tender, and raw cuts that tasted like cucumber jelly. Each roll had a unique flavor, making for a delightful culinary experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time at this sushi restaurant and would definitely return to try more of their offerings.

They offer a wide variety of options on the menu, which makes it easy to find something for everyone. The sushi stood out as being fresh and flavorful, and you can tell quality is a priority there. The tempura, while still kinda enjoyable, could have been a bit crispier as it leaned slightly on the soggy side. Customer service great and the staff member assisting us was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed throughout our visit. The ambiance was also pleasant, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere to dine in. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try their BBQ options next time.
